Universal PH Test Strips Indicator Paper

pH test paper is used to test the acidity and alkalinity of a solution. This is a ready-made test paper. When using it, tear off a strip and place it in a watch glass. Use a dry glass rod to dip a drop of the solution to be tested, or use a rubber dropper to absorb it. Drop the solution in the middle of the test paper, and then compare the color change of the test paper with the standard color chart to know the acidity and alkalinity of the solution, which is very convenient.

1. Test the acidity and alkalinity of the solution: tear off a piece of pH test paper, use a rubber-tipped burette to drop into the solution, change the color for half a second and compare the color with the color card on the package; or take a small amount of solution, wet the liquid directly with the test paper, and then compare the color for half a second according to the color card on the package.

2. Test the acidity and alkalinity of the gas: first moisten the test paper with distilled water, stick the test paper on one end of the glass rod, and then send the test paper to the mouth of the container containing the gas to be tested. Observe the color change to determine the nature of the gas.

2. pH Paper Test Strips cannot measure the pH of concentrated sulfuric acid.
3. The test paper should not touch the test tube mouth, bottle mouth, catheter mouth, etc.
4. When measuring the pH of a solution, the test paper should not be wetted with distilled water in advance, as this will lead to inaccurate measurement. The correct method is to use a glass rod dipped in the solution to be tested and drop it on the middle of the test paper. After the test paper changes color, compare it with the standard color card to determine the pH of the solution.
5. After taking out the test paper, the container holding the test paper should be tightly closed to avoid contamination by some gases in the laboratory.
6. It must be used at room temperature, otherwise the results will be inaccurate.
