Cohesive Bandage Usage

Self-adhesive bandages are bandages that adhere to themselves, preventing them from sticking to skin or hair. This makes them ideal for securing dressings, providing pressure to injured areas, and supporting joints without the need for clips. They are breathable, tearable, and reusable, and are commonly used for sports sprains and first aid wound dressing.

How to Use a Self-Adhesive Bandage

1. Clean the wound or injured area. If using on a wound, apply a sterile dressing first.

2. First, wrap the bandage around the affected area, making sure the first layer is not too tight.

3. Continue wrapping the limb, overlapping each layer of bandage by about half a bandage width to ensure a firm adhesion.

4. Tear the bandage apart by hand and press the end onto the bandage to seal.

5. Ensure the bandage is secure, but not too tight to avoid restricting blood circulation.
