Check the urine bag: Before use, check whether the urine bag packaging is intact and ensure that the urine bag is not damaged, leaking, or not tightly sealed.
Clean your hands: Before touching the urine bag, be sure to wash your hands thoroughly to prevent infection.
Connect the catheter: Insert the end of the catheter firmly into the interface of the urine bag to ensure a tight connection to prevent leakage.
Fix the urine bag: Hang the urine bag on the side of the bed or fix it on the side of the patient's thigh, but not above the level of the bladder to prevent urine from flowing back. At the same time, ensure that the urine bag is securely fixed and will not fall off or shift due to body movement.
Discharge urine: Turn on the switch at the bottom of the urine bag to discharge urine. When discharging, pay attention to controlling the flow rate to avoid urine flowing out too quickly or splashing. After discharge, turn off the switch.
