What are the classifications of condenser tubes?

Reflux condenser tube
When there are volatile liquid reactants, in order to avoid the loss of reactants and make full use of raw materials, a condensation reflux device should be designed in the generating device to allow the substance to return from gaseous state to liquid state after condensation, so that it can be refluxed and collected. The laboratory can be implemented by installing long glass tubes or condensation reflux tubes in the generating device.
Straight condenser tube
It is composed of a straight glass tube combined with an inside and outside. It is mostly used for operations where the distillation steam temperature is less than 140 degrees Celsius and is not used for reflux. There are connecting pipe joints on the upper and lower sides of the outer tube, which are used as water outlets and water inlets.
Instructions for use: When in use, connect the lower connection port to the faucet with a plastic tube as the water inlet. Because the water temperature at the water inlet is low, and the water temperature after being heated by the steam is high, the hotter water will automatically flow upward due to its reduced density, which helps to circulate the cooling water.
air condenser tube
Air condenser tubes and straight condenser tubes are used when evaporating products (including distillation and fractionation). When the boiling point of the distillate exceeds 140 degrees Celsius, an air condensing tube is generally used to prevent the straight condensing tube from being cooled by water and causing the glass to burst due to excessive temperature differences.
Spherical condenser tube
The inner tube is connected with several glass balls and is used for reflux of organic preparations and is suitable for liquids with various boiling points.
After long-term use, the rust in the spacer can be washed away with hydrochloric acid. Disadvantages: The condensed liquid is easy to get stuck in the glass ball after solidification. Due to the high pressure at the water inlet, the hose is easy to fall off, so it must be tied with an iron wire when using it.
Serpentine condenser tube
Reflux for organic preparations, suitable for liquids with lower boiling points.
Double plug condenser tube
It contains two ground plugs with different taper diameters. It is convenient to select the taper diameter during inspection. One plug supports the other two.
